Akhe Theatre & Theatre Kana
The performance is cruel in its radicalism and at the same time full of tenderness. It tells about loneliness, helplessness and beauty of a human being surrounded by multidimensional nonsense of the surrounding world, of his/her own obsessions, emotions and conditions. It is an attempt at diagnosis and coping with the inevitable. It is a peculiar reverse of stand-up reality, a commentary on everyday, local, global and ultimate issues – full of irony and dark humour. The second joint production of the Kana Theatre and the Russian Akhe Theatre from St. Petersburg, one of the most renowned Russian artistic collectives.
The performance does not require knowledge of Polish. It is built on visual images, movement, props, and presented using a small number of words.
