The third encounter:
Oleh Stefan, Luba Ilnycka, Mariana Sadovska
A series of meetings focused on learning theatre craft – the workshop group working under the direction of Kana Theater actors since April meets once a month, examining be relationship between body, voice, motion, presence, and silence. The participants gain tools, study acting techniques, yet first and foremost open themselves to the process associated with the activation of stage energy related to sound, song and action. Besides the regular workshops, they also attend session meetings participated by the invited experts: actors, directors, creators and theatre educators.
Between 3rd and 9th of December the guests of the project will be: Oleh Stefan – an outstanding Ukrainian actor and theatre educator associated with the Lviv-based Les Kurbas Academic Theatre; Luba Ilnycka – the theatre’s literary director and professor of theatre studies of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv; and Mariana Sadovska – a legendary Ukrainian composer, singer, multi-instrumentalist and actress.
