Performances by Clown Rufi Rafi are balancing between circus and theatre, and they work well both on stage and outdoors. They are family-friendly – they are suitable for all ages, because everyone, regardless of their age, likes – and needs – to laugh! Some of the performances, performed in the streets, are much improvised, while others have a more fixed, almost theatrical form.

The clown, pulling all his belongings on his cart (made from a baby playpen), stops to sell his junk. To sell junk or to entertain the crowd? A crude clown-trader initiates direct contact with participants of the event, entertains and emotionally touches both kids and adults. He offers taxi services, then he ventilates with his hand-held air conditioning, and the other time he wants to become a cuddly toy. As it used to happen at the fairs, an unexpected presentation of comical situations, slapstick gags and maybe even touching moments emerge from his funny stall.
