Around Tradition project - singing meeting. This time, on May 20-23, 2021 in Baranowo, in the seat of the KIETA association, there was a singing gathering for several days about Marian songs. The time, space and topics of the meetings were directly related to the tradition of May services, which are one of the most beautiful forms of popular piety, still commonly practiced in Kashubian villages. This custom, dating back to the 5th century (when the faithful gathered around Coptic churches in spring at the statue of the Virgin Mary decorated with flowers) in Poland, has continued for 150 years, gathering and integrating local communities every day in May. The initiator and coordinator of the "Around Tradition" is Rafał Foremski.
