the BIBIKINGS band's third album:
"NAPARSTKI"
The Bibikings band will perform together with friends who, with their sensitivity, complement the sound of the duo's songs: Bibiana Chimiak and Konrad Cwajda. The strength of this duo is their unbridled passion for searching for non-obvious sounds, minimalism of means and timbre of words.
The title of the album refers to a thimble used for sewing because, like it, these songs are supposed to protect against pain. The lyrics of the songs focus on the hardships of everyday life, the monotony of life and its overwhelming rush. They touch on various emotions and talk about sadness, fear, longing, lack, loss and loneliness. It is a thorough analysis of internal states and observations of the surrounding world, conveyed in a symbolic and poetic way. The songs provoke reflection on oneself, on the near and distant reality, and they also speak out about the future. Due to the warmth that emanates from them and the closeness of topics that touch each of us, they bring heartening, even though it is difficult to find hope in them.
