Hubert is running in the next election for the head of the students board in his school. He goes from classroom to classroom and presents his program. He is nice and eloquent, he has good grades. He offers sandwiches, smiling and paying compliments to his girlfriends. He organizes a spontaneous fundraising campaign for a Ukrainian girl he talks about and presents the FB page devoted to this action.
Suddenly the nice boy smoothly turns into a xenophobe and chauvinist. He starts telling jokes about Jews, and encouraging students to do the same. And they do. Some of them laugh loudly. Some are disgusted and protest. Yet after a while, no one protests against mocking the Ukrainians, regardless of the fact that one of their classmates is a Ukrainian girl. Only some students categorically oppose to hate speech. The lesson ends with voting. Who will vote for Hubert?
